Effortless by Greg McKeown

In his latest book Effortless, Greg McKeown talks about wanting to own a stormtrooper costume from the time he was a child. Then, as an adult, he got the opportunity to buy a stormtrooper costume and realized that 30 years later, adult Greg did not want this at all. It was just an idea that he hadn’t revisited that was taking up space in his mind.

I love this!

He says that he often asks himself, “Is this a stormtrooper?” Meaning, is this something he’s holding onto for no reason anymore?

What is your stormtrooper? What is taking up mental space and emotional energy that you can let go of?

Could it be grief? Perhaps a heartbreak from long ago that you just can’t quite get over? Is it a grudge toward someone you feel wronged you?  If so, my grief recovery program can help free that up for you.

I listened to Effortless as an audiobook from my library. I love audiobooks when I’m walking, doing housework, doing yard work, driving, knitting, pretty much any time! But this book was so good I immediately ordered a hard copy so that I could refer to it again and again. Highly recommended!
